Alkanolamine aqueous solutions applied in selective high purification of process gases from hydrogen sulfide

摘要
A variety of tertiary amines has been investigated. It is shown that methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) is the most suitable available selective amine. Along with a selective absorption of hydrogen sulfide, it is characterized by lower pressure of saturated vapours which decreases losses of an absorbent with a gas to be purified. Also, this reagent offer much higher thermal and chemical resistance. To develop and promote the coke gas selective purification by MDEA, it is necessary to study physical-chemical parameters of the system and to build a mathematical absorption model.
